Concept Description

SIX SENSE MAXWELL HOTEL, SINGAPORE

Project scale: Heritage-converted luxury   |   Scope: Full Scope Landscape
Status: Completed 2018   |   Client: (design lead by Joaquin under LanArch)
Concept Inspiration & Insight: In the heart of Singapore’s heritage district, the landscape at Six Senses Maxwell blends colonial legacy and lush greenery — courtyards, herb gardens and reflective pools form a quiet retreat amid city rhythm.
The landscape emphasizes courtyards framed by heritage façades, herb gardens that support the spa’s wellness concept, and secluded pool zones tucked between trees for privacy. Stone paving and traditional materials tie into the building’s period features.
